OUR CORPORATE PARTNERS
AMAR has an excellent relationship with many companies who partner with AMAR to support local families and communities with health care services and access to education through long-term development projects.
SKA
SKA supports AMAR by funding the transportation of thousands of donated medical journals from London to Iraq which enables local health professionals and students to access information to enhance their training and knowledge.
GULFSANDS PETROLEUM
Thanks to the support of Gulfsands, AMAR is providing support to Syrian families in Southern Lebanon through the distribution of food parcels and non-food items, including winter clothing and blankets.
KUWAIT ENERGY COMPANY
Kuwait Energy Company has provided the seed funding necessary for AMAR to start operations in Yemen. AMAR plans to equip, staff and run a charitable clinic in the capital Sana'a, which will provide services to around 20,000 people of which 43% are children.
GARDAWORLD
GardaWorld supports a health post and 20 Women Health Volunteers (WHVs) in Basra province. The Health post offers nursing services and consultations with a GP, supporting a community a long way from a Primary Health Care Centre.
RUMAILA OPERATING ORGANIZATION
Rumaila Operating Organization (Rumaila) and AMAR are working together to support one Health Post and 20 Women Health Volunteers in the community of Al-Khora, in Basra Province. Rumaila has also funded the distribution of food parcels to families during the Ramadan 2013 and the distribution of food boxes, blankets, mattresses and heaters to families affected by heavy rain and flooding in 2013.
THE WEIR GROUP PLC
In 2013 The Weir Group PLC committed to support AMAR‘s work for three years. The first phase of this partnership involved assisting female pupils to attend school by refurbishing sanitation facilities in seven schools across Basra Province.
Poor sanitation facilities can be a significant barrier to female pupils continuing their education. The second phase of this partnership will involve the provision of health, education and training services in communities around Weir’s areas of operation.
SHELL IRAQ
AMAR'S partnership with Shell Iraq began in 2010, with Shell currently committing funds until 2017. Through this partnership AMAR provides health, education and training services in communities surrounding Shell's operations in the Majnoon oil field. The partnership has grown significantly and today reaches over 9,000 beneficiaries every month.
ZAIN IRAQ
AMAR's work throughout Iraq is greatly strengthened by the generous support of Zain, our leading corporate sponsor. In addition to helping sustain our existing work, Zain's support is giving AMAR the capacity to initiate new projects, helping to reach more people across Iraq.
CONTROL RISKS
AMAR is Control Risks' nominated regional charity and supports AMAR's
work through a variety of fundraising activities.
AAIB INSURANCE
AAIB has been supporting AMAR since 1 January 2013. In addition to donating a sum for every insurance policy they sell. AAIB also provides high risk travel insurance for AMAR's colleagues travelling to the region.
OLIVE GROUP
AMAR receives support from Olive Group in the form of logistics, security and accommodation during trips to Iraq. AMAR also receives regular support through
the fundraising activities of Olive Spirit.
IKB TRAVEL
IKB support AMAR by providing flight-booking services at cost price, saving
AMAR money on travel arrangements. IKB also provided free return flights for
those involved in AMAR's 2012 Lebanon Mountain Trek.
CENTRAL PARK HOTEL
Central Park Hotel in Bayswater, London, has been providing free accommodation to AMAR's colleagues travelling from abroad, enabling them to come to London for project meetings and important events despite a limited budget. The saves AMAR thousands of pounds every year.

LITTLE INDIA RESTAURANT
Little India restaurant in Holborn is AMAR’s first restaurant partner.
As well as collecting donations for AMAR’s emergency appeal for
refugees, Little India is now also supporting vaccination programmes
in the Middle East by facilitating donations from restaurant diners.
