EVENTS
AMAR holds many fundraising events and activities throughout the year to raise money for projects, local staff training and development schemes.
A successful fundraising gala dinner was held at The Savoy hotel in London, where £50, 000 was raised for the AMAR Foundation. AMAR celebrated its 21st year during the evening, and relaunched its work in Lebanon.

On November 30 2012, AMAR held its annual Christmas Bazaar and celebratory lunch at the Jumeriah Carlton Hotel in Knightsbridge. A drinks reception was also held in honour of AMAR's supporters. Over £18,500 was raised from the two events.
Caroline Brooks, from the IBBC members group, Control Risks, trekked 440km across Lebanon for the AMAR Foundation. She raised a total of £17, 342 for various charitable projects.
Without the help of the following companies, we would not be able to hold our fundraising events. We are extremely grateful for their continued generosity and support.
AMAR's annual Gala Diner was held on June 6 at The Savoy Hotel in London.
On 23 November 2013, AMAR held its Winter Lunch, Fashion Show & Fair at the Jumeriah Carlton Tower Hotel to raise money for our Widows Project in Iraq. Over £16,000 was successfully raised on the day.
AMAR celebrated its 20th anniversary at The Savoy Hotel. Guests were joined by celebrated comedian, Omid Djalili and treated to a performance from the Sylvia Young Theatre School, where over £100,000 was raised to support AMAR's projects.
More than 250 guests attended AMAR's celebration in The Royal Gallery of The House of Lords, including His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Rowsch Shaways, and the Director-General of UNESCO Irina Bokova.
